Sadie Sink is one of those people, who shine from a very young age. Some people learn to do things and some are born with; Sink belongs to the second category. She has just stepped into her adulthood, but in such a short time, what she has done is remarkable.
She was born on April 16, 2002, in Texas. With a young brother, Sink made the most of it. To cope with her madness in creating Disney musicals, her mother decided to send her to a community theatre.
With time, it seemed like the perfect decision. Sink excelled in her abilities and got a break in Annie on Broadway. Though she was selected for a small role, Sink was made Annie when the original actress left. It opened the doors to her dreams and she did everything she could. Sink took separate dancing and vocal classes to master the problems.
She has played several important roles in series like The American” and The Audience. But her biggest break was yet to come. It was 2017, Sink got the role of Maxine Mayfield in the blockbuster Netflix Original Series Stranger Things. Everything changed in Sink’s life, she was not a junior artist anymore.
She worked with Joaquin Phoenix in the documentary narration of “Dominion”, it was a great experience to work with such a talented actor. And her efforts were recognized when Sink won the 2018 Award of Excellence for documentary narration.
