Taylor Swift Closing Women History Month With Inspiring Songs By Female Artists

As Women’s History Month is coming to an end, the pop-sensation Taylor Swift opens up about the female artists who guided her career in many ways. In her Instagram story, she shared a curated playlist from the women who guided and inspired her musical roadmap.

She named the playlist as, “AMPLIFY: WHM.” The playlist contains around 51 songs from different artists including Dixie Chicks, Dido, Tracy Chapman, Annie Lennox, Melissa Etheridge, Anna Nalick, etc.

Sharing the playlist, the superstar wrote on her Instagram, “At the end of Women’s History Month, I wanted to make a playlist of songs and artists who made music that became the soundtrack to my life for a time, a phase, endless rides on the school bus, getting my license and driving around alone, screaming into a hairbrush and deciding ultimately that I wanted to make music too.”

Swift told how these females have helped her understand that music. “I see these women as my faraway mentors, who taught me how music can really make someone’s life easier and more magical,” she added.

The lady shared a similar post on Twitter, captioned it as, “My Women’s History Month playlist is nostalgic comfort vibes by women I adore.”

Further, the pop-singer gave all the credits to the inspiring female professors. Although Swift never met most of these women, she still feels that they play a huge role in guiding towards different aspects of life as well as music. “These female professors guided me melodically, lyrically, spiritually and emotionally without even knowing it. And though I haven’t met most of these women, I will forever be grateful to them,” added Swift.
